Attorney Harkavy has been practicing personal injury law for over 30 years. Her experience is extensive having handled cases in the Superior and District Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has successfully settled, mediated, arbitrated, and brought to trial numerous complex personal injury cases. Her areas of practice in personal injury law include assisting victims of accidents who have been injured through no fault of their own due to someone else’s negligence.
She has assisted persons injured in a variety of cases including motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, slip and fall and trip and fall accidents, dog bites, motor scooter accidents, catastrophic injuries, child injuries, construction site accidents, liquor liability and dram shop injuries, truck accidents, premises liability, food poisoning and food allergy injuries, traumatic brain injury and wrongful death cases.

Attorney Harkavy is admitted to the Massachusetts and Connecticut bars. She is also admitted to the US District Court, for the District of Massachusetts.
Attorney Harkavy currently serves as the Co-chair of the Women’s Bar Association Solo and Small Firm Committee, along with her law partner, Karen Piso Nadeau. Her work with the Women’s Bar Association allows her to assist both new and seasoned practitioners in running their law firms. This work also allows access to a wide variety of skilled practitioners in areas other than personal injury law.
Family & Community
A former Division 1 collegiate tennis player, Attorney Harkavy has deep roots within the Massachusetts community. Her father was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. She recalls from an early age, a fondness for professional baseball, stemming from watching the Boston Red Sox on TV with her father’s family. Along with her husband John, also a lawyer, she raised her two daughters in the suburbs of Boston. She continues to reside in the Boston community with her husband and British cream golden retriever. She enjoys mentoring prospective law students.
